The Library is open to the public on Thursday afternoons (2pm-4pm) when a duty officer is available. You don't need to book, just turn up.

The duty officer is there to help you find the material that you are looking for - please don't hesitate to ask, or check here for information on how the material is organised in the Library.

To protect the Library’s collection, please adhere to the following while visiting:

1.       All material is for reference only – none of it may be borrowed

2.       After you have finished with the material you have been consulting, please DO NOT put it back on the shelf: leave it for the Library staff to put back

3.       No food or drink is permitted in the Library

4.       Please leave your bags with the Library supervisor for the duration of your visit

5.       Please only use a laptop or pencil and paper, not pens, when consulting the material

Please also sign the visitors' book! It helps us to understand the use of the Library.
